Hello and welcome to CARDROME Bike Training, Essex's leading motorcycle training school with its own exclusive and safe 12-acre off-road training area, available for CBT courses and FULL BIKE LICENCE courses including A1, A2 and DIRECT ACCESS SCHEME (DAS), running seven days a week.

We are a 10 minutes' walk from Elm Park underground station (District Line) and with a bus stop outside our premises (No 252), on either side of the road, we are easily accessible by bus and rail.

The team is led by our chief instructor, who has decades of teaching experience under his belt and holds several teaching qualifications for various types of vehicles. All of our instructors are Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency Cardington Assessed, DAS qualified and also hold further qualifications in DVSA Enhanced Rider Scheme (ERS). They have been through rigorous training to reach the highest standards of instruction and are among the best in the field.

 

Our 12-acre training site includes major and minor road junctions for practising left and right turns, roundabouts, zebra crossings and a 30mph speed limit to build up your confidence, off-road, before taking you onto the public road.

YOUR SAFETY IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY

For our full licence courses, we have our own safe, dedicated off-road training area to complete all the slow manoeuvres and a dedicated off-road training area with left and right-hand bends. On our circuit, with a quarter of a mile run, we will train you for high-speed manoeuvres, emergency stop and swerve avoidance exercises, without any other vehicles present.

 

These manoeuvres require speeds of approximately 35mph, for which most motorcycle training schools do not have on-site facilities, and you are required to practice them on public roads, which can be very daunting for most students.
